K-pop group MBLAQ member G.O on the teaser image of his 2013 single “Play That Song.” [J.Tune Camp]

K-pop boy group MBLAQ member G.O will come back to the music scene as a solo artist next week.

G.O will drop his new single “Play That Song” next Monday noon Korea time, his agency J.Tune Camp said on Thursday along with a teaser image of G.O.

Produced by renowned pianist Yiruma, “Play That Song” is the medium-tempo R&B tune singing about a man looking back his past love with great fondness.

The upcoming tune will highlight side of G.O, the lead vocal of MBLAQ, as a skilled vocalist with sorrowful emotion, J.Tune explained.

G.O, 26, whose real name is Jung Byung-hee, made debut as member of MBLAQ in 2009. He was acknowledged his singing abilities through KBS’s singing competition “Immortal Songs.”

MBLAQ, formed of G.O, Seungho, Joon, Cheon Dung and Mir, is prepping up for their upcoming Seoul concert “Sensation” which will be held at Korea University’s Hwajung Stadium next Saturday.
