K-pop artist Jung Joon-young and actor Kim Ju-hyeok are considering joining the new season of KBS’s variety show “Two Days and One Night.”
Officials with each of Jung and Kim’s agencies, namely CJ E&M and Namoo Actors, explained TenAsia on Monday that the stars are strong candidates for the next season of “Two Days and One Night” but they’re still looking into it.
An official with KBS said, “The producing crew is cautious about deciding new members since we still have some times until the first taping and there were some noise with the replacement of current members.”
On Monday, KBS made clear that Cha Tae-hyun and Kim Jong-min are only remaining members for the third season of “Two Days and One Night,” while Sung Si-kyung, Uhm Tae-woong, Yoo Hae-jin Kim Seung-woo and Lee Soo-geun, who admitted illegal gambling charge, are leaving the show.
Last week, K-pop acts SHINee member Minho, John Park and Yook Joong-wan of indie band Rose Motel have been named as new member of the TV show, which turned out that they had meetings with the producing crew but their appearances have not been confirmed yet.
The last episode of the second season of the popular real variety show, tapped last Friday, will hit air next Sunday at 4:55 p.m. Korea time.
