Korean male star Lee Seung-gi will lend his sweet voice to MBC’s special documentary next week.
The singer/actor is set to participate in MBC’s documentary “Insect, Great Instinct” (translated title), slated to hit air next Friday night 10 p.m. KST.
Produced to celebrate the major channel’s 52th anniversary of establishment, the upcoming TV documentary will deliver unknown ecosystem of insect and their lives.
“Lee Seung-gi, who has been a huge fan of documentary, willingly accepted our offer to narrate the documentary despite of his hectic overseas schedule and preparations for his upcoming concert,” an official with the producing crew said.
MBC’s special documentaries have been narrated by Korea’ top stars from Kim Nam-gil, Song Joong-ki and Hyun Bin in past years.
Meanwhile, Lee’s upcoming TV variety show “Grandmas over Flowers” (tentative title), directed by producer Nah Yeong-seok of “Two Days and One Night,” will hit air on tvN next Friday 10 p.m. Korea time.
The much-beloved star will also hold an year-end concert at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul next weekend.
