K-pop artist Taeyang, also member of top boy group Big Bang, will hold his first-ever exclusive concert in US.
Taeyang will have his first solo concert in the country at BIMBO’S 365 in San Francisco next Tuesday, his agency YG Entertainment announced on Thursday.
Invited to MTV IGGY and Intel’s “Music Experiment 2.0,” the K-pop artist will mark his first solo performance and meetup with US fans.
Big Bang has held the group’s first US concerts in New Jersy and Los Angeles last November as the US legs of the five-member group’s successful world tour.
“We create big synergy effect and energy when we’re together. That energy exuded in our music and performances is the key [to our success] in that it also brings the same to the audience,” Taeyang explained the secret of the group’s huge success during the interview with Music Experiment.
The second series of Music Experiment has featured Australian electronic group Empire of the Sun, British electric duo Disclosure and Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire, each of them in New York, Boston and Los Angeles this year.
