Hallyu star Kim Jae-joong has sold out all the tickets to his upcoming Seoul concert only in five minutes.
The Seoul shows of “2014 Kim Jaejoong 1st album Asia Tour Concert & J party” was sold out in five minutes of opening ticket sales on Thursday 8 p.m. KST, according to his agency C-Jes Entertainment.
C-Jes explained that fans’ expectations were extremely high since the upcoming Seoul concerts will feature Kim’s live performances of his first solo studio album as well as fan event to celebrate his 27th birthday on January 26.
The concerts will be held at Korea University’s Hwajeong Stadium on January 25 and 26, drawing in a total of 10,000 fans into Kim’s live performance including one-hour fan meeting session.
Kim’s first solo full effort “WWW: Who, When, Why,” rolled out last October, is filled with various genres from soft rock to Brit pop and ballad.
The 27-year-old star sat at No. 4 on Korean album sales chart Hanteo Chart’s annual album sales survely as the only solo artist in the top five.
