Hallyu star Rain will first unveil the comeback performance of his upcoming sixth studio album through special TV show this Thursday.

Korean music cable channel Mnet said on Tuesday that “Rain Comeback Special – Rain Effect,” set to hit air on Thursday 7:30 p.m. KST, would feature Rain’s first televised performance of his sixth full effort “Rain Effect.”

As well as the first performances of the album’s double title tunes “30 SEXY” and “La Song,” the special TV show will showcase Rain’s signature powerful and well-weaved performances of other songs in “Rain Effect.”

The show’s chief producer Choi Seung-joon explained that, “Since Rain is Asia’s representative performance musician, this comeback show will mark the first step to introduce his sixth album thoroughly. To show memorable performance, Rain carefully takes care of its choreography and even little props on stage.”

In the meantime, Rain’s agency CUBE DC explained on Tuesday that Rain is launching global joint promotion with Korea’s world-class electronics company LG Electronics and LG Display.

The music video of Rain’s “30SEXY” has been shot against LG’s Ultra HD TV, which highlighted Rain’s dynamic performance, and its filming set was also build with cutting edge equipment of LG’s recent products, CUBE explained.

Starting with releasing the complete version of “30 SEXY” video at the world’s biggest electronics exhibition CES Show, being held at Las Vegas from Tuesday to Friday, the video will hit LG stores and outdoor billboards around the world.
