Korean singer Soyou of girl group SISTAR has lent her addictive voice to MBC’s historic epic “Empress Ki.”
The fourth original soundtrack of the popular period-set drama, “One More Time” (translated title) sung by Soyou, was released through online music distribution services Tuesday noon KST.
Produced by hit songwriter D.O, the ballad tune is accompanied with rich string sounds and sentimental lyrics, featuring Soyou’s haunting voice.
Soyou has grabbed overwhelming popularity with her previous duet songs “Officially Missing You” with hip-hop duo Geeks and “Stupid in Love” with rapper Mad Clown.
“Empress Ki,” starring Ha Ji-won, Joo Jin-mo and Ji Chang-wook, is also faring well on TV charts as the top drama of Monday and Tuesday prime time slot over two months.
