K-pop female group Girl’s Day hit No. 1 on MelOn’s real-time chart for the first time since their debut in 2010.
Girl’s Day’s sexy tune “Something,” which rolled out on January 3, ruled the MelOn’s real-time chart, pushing rock trio M.C. The Max’s tune “Wind that Blows” to the second spot, the Korea’s biggest music streaming service showed on Tuesday.
“We finally hit No. 1 on MelOn for the first time. We thank you so much for your love,” the girls posted on their official Twitter account the same day.
The girls will make a television appearance on SBS MTV’s music show “The Show” tonight.
Girl’s Day last released their digital single “Let’s Go” last October.
