Boy band INFINITE member L will get to put his acting chops to practice again.
An official with INFINITE’s agency Woollim Entertainment confirmed with TenAsia on Monday that L has been cast in MBC’s upcoming drama “Devious Divorcee” (translated title) starring actors Rhee Min-jung and Joo Sang-wook.
However, the official also stated that contrary to some reports, “it is not set 100 percent” as to whether L will play the personal assistant of main male character Cha Jung-woo who will be played by Joo.
“Devious Divorcee,” set to go on air after current Wednesday and Thursday series “Miss Korea” ends its run this month, will be a romantic comedy that tells about the realizations a divorced couple have about love and marriage when they re-encounter each other.
L, whose real name is Kim Myung-soo, made his debut as one of the main vocalist in seven-member boy band INFINITE in 2010 but has appeared in a couple TV dramas now including cable channel tvN’s teen drama “Shut Up Flower Boy Band” (2012) and SBS’s “Master’s Sun” (2013).
