SHINee member Key and INFINITE member Woohyun may come together to form a singing duo, according to their agencies on Friday.

A report earlier in the afternoon said that the two will form a duo unit and quoted an official as saying they may release an album by March or April.

In a phone call with TenAsia later in the day, officials with SHINee’s agency SM Entertainment and INFINITE’s agency Woollim Entertainment both acknowledged they have “discussed on the matter but have yet to decide on details.”

If the unit comes about, it will mark the first collaboration between the two agencies which have been affiliated since last August when SM C&C, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment, merged with Woollim.

Key mainly raps in his five-member group and Woohyun is the vocalist of his seven-member group.
