Boy band TVXQ! picked up one last trophy on a televised music show with their tune “Something.”
The duo, who over the weekend finished their promotional activities for the song from their seventh studio album “TENSE” released in early January, won a trophy on KBS’s weekly music program “Music Bank” on Friday.
They had received a trophy on the show in mid-January, as well as on Mnet’s “M! CountDown,” MBC’s “Music Core,” and SBS’s “Inkigayo.”
“We didn’t know we’d get another trophy because this was our last week with our activities. We give this honor to our family at SM Entertainment, our fan club, our staff, and our dancers,” TVXQ! said in their acceptance speech.
In the meantime, different groups won on other shows with Girls’ Day taking their first win on “M! CountDown” with their song “Something,” and AOA claiming their first win ever on a televised music show with their tune “Miniskirt” on “Inkigayo.”
B1A4 were handed their second trophy for song “LONELY” on “Music Core,” their first time being January 25. This brings B1A4’s total trophy count on the main music shows to five including one more on “Inkigayo” (Jan 26) and two more on “Music Bank” (Jan 24 and 31).
