Boy band SHINee member Key will appear in season two of the global edition of MBC’s make-believe married life show “We Got Married.”
The announcement came through a press release by MBC on Monday, although with no details on his on-screen to-be-wife, a matter that will be kept under wraps until the first shoot takes place sometime this week.
The show itself, also set to feature Super Junior’s Heechul with Taiwanese girl group Dream Girls member Puff Kuo, will premiere in April and show on major channels through Asia as well as in the Americas.
The first season of “We Got Married: Global Edition” had been a hit with virtual couples Taecyeon of Korean boy band 2PM and Taiwanese actress Emma Wu, and Korean band FT Island’s Hong Ki and Japanese actress Fujii Mina.
Key, a member of his group formed also of members Jonghyun, Minho, Taemin and Onew, has been popular since his debut in 2008 under major talenthouse SM Entertainment.
