Actor Lee Jong-suk will make this year’s Valentine’s Day a very special one for his fans in Shanghai.
A press release by his agency Wellmade Entertainment on Wednesday said that the actor will hold a fan meeting in the Chinese city’s E-SPORT ARENA on Friday.
It will be one of the few meet-and-greets that Lee, an up-and-coming star in Asia, has held overseas so far: his first was in Japan in 2012, followed by a fan meeting in Taiwan and fan signing event in Hong Kong in 2013.
An official with Wellmade was quoted as saying, “There is nothing, from the songs he’ll sing to the production of the overall event, that Lee hasn’t helped in making the decisions. From a month ago, he’s been working hard to present fans with the perfect fan meeting.”
Lee, who was originally a fashion model, started acting in 2010 and became noticed through smash hit drama “Secret Garden” later the same year.
He got his big break through series “I Can Hear Your Voice” last year and is now set to star in a drama tentatively titled “Doctor Stranger” which premieres in April.
