Actor No Min-woo has decided to appear in a drama starring Jo Seung-woo and Lee Bo-young.
No’s agency MJ Dreamsys said through a press release on Wednesday that the 27-year-old actor will take on SBS’s upcoming Monday and Tuesday series tentatively titled “God’s Gift.”
“He will play Theo, the leader of group Snake. He decided to appear in the drama because despite his busy schedule at home and overseas, he was completely taken to the role,” the statement explained.
Theo will be a character that the daughter of Lee Bo-young’s role Kim Soo-hyun likes, and also someone that was in a state of dejection after the friend that introduced him to music committed suicide, but succeeds as a rock star with the determination to achieve his friend’s dream.
The show itself will be about a mother, who has lost her child, protecting that child after going back two weeks in time, and is set to premiere after current series “One Warm Word” ends its run in February.
No made his debut as a drummer in rock band TRAX in 2004 though he left the band in 2006 to kick off his acting career which has included several projects including “Pasta” (MBC, 2010), “Midas” (SBS, 2011) and film “Ghastly” (2011).
