Girls’ Generation will release their album today as originally planned, their agency announced on Monday.

A press release by SM Entertainment stated that the girls’ fourth mini-album “Mr.Mr.” will be unveiled online at 5 p.m. today.

This comes somewhat as a surprise because just last week, SM had said the album’s release may have to be rescheduled due to the loss of data for their music video, and therefore, they had not been able to reveal their title track, also named “Mr.Mr.” in advance on February 19.

Nonetheless, hard copies of the six-track record will also hit stores on Thursday and the nine-member group will give their comeback performance on cable music channel Mnet’s “M! CountDown” on March 6.

Girls’ Generation, composed of members Taeyeon, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Sunny, Jessica, Seohyun, Yoona, Sooyoung and Yuri, last released their fourth studio album “I Got a Boy” in January of last year.
