SBS’s “Love from Star” ended its journey yesterday with much success.
According to AGB Nielsen Media on Friday, the Kim Soo-hyun and Jun Ji-hyun starrer pulled in a viewership rating of 28.6 percent on its final episode on Thursday, the highest mark the show has scored since its premiere in mid-December of last year.
It attracted a viewership of 26 percent for Wednesday’s episode, bringing its weekly average to 27.05 percent to keep it in first place among its Wednesday and Thursday primetime competitors.
Succeeding “Love from Star” next week will be “3days,” starring JYJ’s Park Yuchun and veteran actor Son Hyun-joo.
In the meantime, KBS’s “Inspiring Generation” posted an average mark of 9.5 percent, down from last week’s 10.5 percent.
Broadcaster SBS came last, with the last episode of “Miss Korea” on Wednesday scoring a 6.2 percent rating and the consecutive episodes of new drama “Cunning Single Lady” drawing in an average viewership rating of 5.9 percent.
Starring Rhee Min-jung and Joo Sang-wook, “Cunning Single Lady” will tell about the realizations a divorced couple have about love and marriage when they re-encounter each other.
