A Korean film starring actor Song Joong-ki and actress Park Bo-young went into shoot this week, according to the movie’s local distributor CJ Entertainment on Thursday.
A press release by CJ said that the Song and Park starrer “Teenage Wolf” (tentative title), helmed by critically acclaimed director Jo Sung-hee, cranked in on December 21.
“Wolf,” which tells the story of how an orphaned wolf boy (Song) and a cold-hearted girl (Park) learn to love each other, will open in local theaters during the late half of next year.
Song made his debut in 2008 and shot to stardom last year after starring in KBS’ history drama “SungKyunKwan Scandal” and recently starred in film “Penny Pinchers” with actress Han Ye-seul and made an appearance as the young king in SBS’ series “Deep Rooted Tree.”
Park made her acting debut in 1996 and rose to fame through Korean comedy “Speedy Scandal” which is one of the most-watched films in 2008.
Both Song and Park have worked together in doing the Korean-language dubbing for Hollywood animation “Rio.”
